A fresh and fruity speciality from the Rhineland
Our local fruit is so delicious: we only use freshly picked fruit from regional producers and in abundant quantities! We use 255g of apples and 25g of pears to produce 100g of Apfelschmaus.
We use traditional methods to produce the original Rhenish apple spread - a perfect accompaniment to sweet pancakes and potato pancakes! Our Apfelschmaus is also great on crispy bread, as an ingredient in desserts and sweet treats and in fruity dressings and sauces

Fruchtig-frische Spezialität aus dem Rheinland
So saftig schmeckt unser heimisches Obst: In das Apfelschmaus, auch bekannt als Apfelkraut, kommen nur erntefrische Früchte aus regionalem Anbau – und zwar in reichlichen Mengen! Für 100 Gramm Apfelschmaus verarbeiten wir satte 255 Gramm Äpfel und 25 Gramm Birnen.
Auf traditionelle Weise stellen wir daraus das original rheinische Apfelkraut her – ein perfekter Begleiter zu Pfannkuchen und Kartoffelpuffern! Unser Apfelschmaus macht sich außerdem gut auf knusprigem Brot, als Zutat für Süßspeisen und in fruchtigen Dressings und Soßen.
Grafschafter Apfelschmaus ist von Natur aus gluten- und laktosefrei.
