Mirador de la Trapa

The Trapa viewpoint is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Mallorca. It is located in a nature reserve, and next to the sa Dragonera natural park, it is one of the best preserved and wildest natural areas on the island.

To reach the viewpoint you pass next to an old Trappist monastery. This area is being restored, both in its architectural elements and the natural environment (affected by several fires in recent years).

Very nice hiking trail, but also well attended, as this hiking tour is described as a highlight in many hiking guides.

Highlight of the GR221 - who can do it! On the road at the end of my marked route is a trail parking lot. Here you can walk as a day hiker with light luggage to Sant Elm. We found several day hikers with a small backpack.
