"I have never tried that before, so I should definitely be able to do that." We're committed to follow this fearless perspective from Pippi Longstocking, kindly shared by Steve Ramus (Perrigo Company plc) during a spirited panel at 🌿 Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC)🌿 Impact 2024. Joining Steve on stage was Michael Wier (CVS Health), Neema Pourian (Marks, part of SGS & Co) and moderator Paul Nowak (GreenBlue Org) who reflected on the power of partnerships in accelerating and enhancing sustainability initiatives. Key takeaways: ✅ Transparency and communication of goals and strategy are crucial ✅ Reframe conversations towards a “how can we” mindset and viewing sustainability as business savvy ✅ Persist by questioning unsubstantiated “no” answers in the quest for elusive breakthroughs ✅ Think conceptually to foster a culture of innovation and sustainable business transformation ✅ Share your sustainability IP for the greater good, bolstering industry wide progress ✅ Harness AI to navigate large data sets and uncover actionable insights ✅ Embrace regulation as an inevitable reality of the future, turning it into empowerment Want to know more? Check out our article that unpacks these key takeaways by clicking the link below. Special thanks to Sustainable Packaging Coalition and CVS for our invite, and the whole panel for a great conversation. 💡What's your take on sustainability in business? Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC)’s conference themed Less Carbon Better Packaging is just around the corner. Our work in brand experience design puts us on the front-line of the sustainability agenda. Aligning with SPC's mission to minimize packaging's environmental footprint through renewable and recyclable materials, and industry collaboration, we're determined to help our clients expedite sustainable packaging solutions and practices. ♻️ Neema Pourian, our Global Head of Engineering, will participate in a panel discussion with Michael Wier from CVS Health on "Building Energetic and Meaningful Partnerships to Drive Change," highlighting how collaborations can leapfrog companies and their initiatives towards their sustainability goals. ♻️ Jose L. Padilla, Design Director of Industrial Design, will join the "Glass Half Full" bottle recycling tour, to glean insights from the advancements and pitfalls of glass recycling. We're eager to support SPC's goals and share our expertise in helping CPG companies achieve sustainability through thoughtful design. Neema and Jose are attending the whole agenda in New Orleans next week. 👀 Look out for them and do say hi! 👋 They're great company as well as true experts! https://lnkd.in/gH_kSCQw #SPCImpact2024 #Sustainability #PackagingDesign #MakeMarks
