It’s little wonder Lira has been chosen as the new ambassador for Namibian tourism – the Feel Good singer spent six months soaking up the stark beauty of the breath-taking desert nation.  

“I feel very much at home in Namibia. It’s truly a unique and very special place,” she tells us. Two days before South Africa went into lockdown, Lira packed her bags for the country north of our border.

“I drove because I was concerned about flying and catching the virus,” she says.
