First Alert Weather

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good evening Texoma! I hope you’ve been enjoying the wonderful temperatures with highs close to 80 today. We’ve had a few showers today, but they’ve been light and low impact. We still have the chance of some showers and storms this afternoon / evening, but latest weather information keeps the heaviest rains and storms to the south of us.That doesn’t mean we won’t get any storms, but the impact is low. As for severe weather, some small hail and gusty winds can’t be ruled out, but the overall severe risk is very low. As for tomorrow, we finally get a nice break from the storms. Monday we haeva First Alert Weather Day, but latest information is pulling the best severe chances to the north. If this trend continues to hold, we could be on the outside looking in for this severe weather event - though I know nobody is complaining. Past Monday, we finally go quiet and get a stretch of nice, warm weather.
