The middle of March holds the return of Tokyo Fashion Week. When there is fashion on the runway, spectators and guests dress up to participate in the occasion. Some of the bests outfits of the week can be seen, not on the runway but off, in the streets of Tokyo sported by some of the most fashionable. Leather, tulle, layers, deconstructed coats and skirts, maximalism, and a broad range of color palettes have been incorporated into many outfits.
