Plasma gas

Plasma gas or secondary plasma are neutral (semi-)stable gas particles, which are generated by a plasma discharge after recombination.

The explanation for this is that when the energy in the plasma gets too low, the species recombine very fast to uncharged, but still reactive molecules. This state is not considered as plasma according to the definition, but merely a gas mixture, and is therefore called plasma gas. It is important to note that physical plasma is an excited gas consisting of radicals, charged atoms and molecular fragments, as well as excited molecules, and has various effects depending on its properties and the environment in which it is present.
