      As a well-versed German entertainer, Bertolt Brecht had a diverse career in the entertainment business. Brecht worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Baal" (1969), "Die Dreigroschenoper" (1931) starring Rudolf Forster, "Hangmen Also Die" with Brian Donlevy (1943), "Nach Meinem Letzten Umzug" (1972) starring Curt Bois, "The Condemned of Altona" with Sophia Loren (1962) and "The Shameless Old Lady" (1964). In the seventies and the eighties, Brecht devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Life Story of Baal" (1978), "Herr Puntila och hans drang" (1980), "Mahagonny" with Jonas Mekas (1980) and "The Big Town" (1987). Brecht had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties, including "Love Potion #9" (1992) starring Tate Donovan, "Shadows and Fog" (1992), "Karyera Arturo UI: Novaya Vyersiya" (1996) starring Aleksandr Filipenko, "Seven Years in Tibet" with Brad Pitt (1997) and "Swing" (1998) starring Lisa Stansfield. Brecht last provided music for "Herr Puntila and His Servant Matti." Bertolt Brecht passed away in August 1956 at the age of 58.
