SAN FRANCISCO — A few buildings on Google's Mountain View, Calif., campus were evacuated late Friday afternoon after a threat was made against the Internet giant, local police say.
Mountain View police officers responded "out of an abundance of caution," said Katie Nelson, public information officer for the Mountain View Police Department.
No injuries were reported and nothing suspicious was found during the search, police said.
Google spokesman Rob Shilkin said on Twitter: "A few buildings evacuated out of an abundance of caution, now back to normal. All good!"
Google declined to discuss the threat made against the company.
