Cascina Roera Winery

The Cascina Roera estate is run by two humble winemakers with predestined names for the world of wine: Claudio Rosso and Piero Nebbiolo. Both are originally from the Costiglione d’Asti region in Piedmont. For generations, the families of winemakers have worked the land mainly cultivating barbera, nebbiolo, cortese, arneis and chardonnay. The winemakers began bottling their wines in 2002, working on a total of 7.5 hectares of vines, with a total production of around 30,000 bottles. Organic farming and separate vinifications to enhance the various soils available. The work in the cellar is only an extension of the rigorous work carried out in the vineyard, with long spontaneous fermentations and small doses of SO2 upon bottling.
