It’s been quite a fashion month for the Delevingnes. While reigning runway queen Cara lived up to her reputation as a sartorial shape-shifter—sliding from barefaced, beanie-headed tomboy to cat-eyed, décolleté-baring vamp—her sister Poppy graced front rows from New York to Paris with consistently polished, preppy-with-a-twist looks. Back in London, the siblings were spotted outside Chiltern Firehouse over the weekend with two takes on the high ponytail that were as subtly different as their trademark styles—Poppy with a swingy, sixties fountain and Cara’s with a slightly off-kilter ponytail. Together, they offer a great reminder that when it comes to the simplest of looks, it’s never the what, but the how.
