Very disappointed with the service. Dr Lim was dismissive and didn’t listen to my presenting concerns - pigmentation and blue veins. Instead, insisted I get rosacea treated instead. Each time had a different nurse for 4 treatments. Reception incredibly rude. No results from laser. Then told by a receptionist I would have to pay an additional 2,000 for more laser. I enquired about the misleading initial quote. No treatment at all for my pigmentation or blue veins - apparently they needed a different laser! I have subsequently gone to a new dermatologist. I felt really ripped off. The nurses were also rude and dismissive.

Absolutely rude did not know anything about skin I feel he is only repeating stuff he has read and should learn when your dealing with people treat them a lot more professional. These people have waited and overpaid to see you he will get exposed for the fraud that he is

I do not recommend Dr Lim. Made me feel like I was just wasting his time, completely not interested in my concerns. Makes a joke out of your issues if they are minor (to him). If I knew what I know now I would never gone to him and gone to another dermatologist. He would be great if he was anything like his Youtube videos - but I found out first hand he was not to me anyway.

Not worth it. I thought i would see him as I use to follow his instagram & youtube, however in person he is nothing like he is on social media. $350 for a 5 minute consultation. Very felt rushed and he didnt even explain what type of acne scars I had, the treatments he will be using, nothing. he just gave me a quote and a piece of paper for the receptionist at the front. If you want to see someone who can explain things to you , and you can ask questions, Davin Lim is not that person.

I travelled a long way to see this Dr. Three minutes in the seat, a couple of short sentences ... it was done. He turned his back on me and waved his hand over his shoulder to let me know he had finished, and I was being dismissed. Never again.

Negative reviews in this forum are spot-on. This guy is nothing like his online (youtube etc) persona. He seems quite jaded with his lot in life and very narcissistic, strutting around like he's some kind of rock-star. Doesnt explain things properly. Mumbles alot. And generally gives the impression he's not particuarly interested in what you're there for, or what he's supposed to be doing during a professional consultation. Asking questions for clarification are met with a limited response which leaves further doubt. Drops the "f" word frequently and just not particularly the sort of person one would expect of a professionally qualified dermatologist. There are better Derms in Brisbane, so research first before committing to the hefty initial consultation fee this guy charges without delivering the goods.

O stars for this doctor. Different person in real life. No personal skills and is very unprofessional in how he treats patients and does not explain anything to you - is like getting blood out of a stone. Makes you feel bad for asking questions and when you do you don't get an explained answer. I did read the negative reviews before seeing him and ignored them thinking they must just be complaining about minor things and just cannot be pleased, no one can be that bad and be like that, gave him the benefit of the doubt ....well I truly believe every single one of them because I experience exactly the same thing. Stay away and go elsewhere is what I am telling all my family and friends. Well this is my personal experience with him.

Narcissistic, 0 ounce of humility. No “art” of medicine practised with Davin. I was definitely fooled by his Youtube persona which shows him as an empathetic doctor who wants to help people save their time, money and live healthier lives. In person, he’s completely different.

Should have seen years ago. Producing amazing results for my acne scarring. Expecting a lot of pain but did not feel any at all through procedure. My money was fortunately well spent by seeing him. Thanks Dr Lim !
