The Bundesliga side only signed the 21-year-old in January but are braced for summer bids

Everton and Leicester are eyeing Hamburg midfielder Walace.

Hamburg only signed anchorman Walace, 21, for around £8m from Gremio in the January window.

But they are not expecting to keep him for long after facing a battle to sign him in the first place and are already bracing themselves for summer offers.

Leicester were one of the clubs Hamburg pipped to win the race for Brazil international Walace, who marked his Hamburg league debut with a goal against RB Leipzig last week, as were Lazio.

The Foxes are continuing to monitor his progress, with any summer move likely to depend on securing Premier League survival.

And Walace, who helped his country win Olympic gold in Rio last summer, is also on Everton's radar.
