Abstract

Description

总的来说,本发明涉及信息卡室,也被称作灵巧卡阅读器,更具体地说是一个具有简化的连接接触配置的窄断面(Low    profile)信息卡室。
典型的,这里所描述的这类装置叫做卡阅读器,它应用于电话帐单,银行事务,电影院及大批量运输等方面。近来,信息卡室用于允许向信息卡中写入信息。信息卡可包括集成电路,微处理器或存储器。
这些信息卡室的一种应用是在无线电话市场中。在欧洲市场中,信息卡室典型地用于从信息卡中读出无线电话用户鉴别信息。由于无线电话变得日趋小型化和便携化,因此需要一种能与信息卡电连接并从信息卡中读取信息和向其中写入信息的窄断面的一体的信息卡室。
以前,无线电话的一体化信息卡室是用摩擦接触结构适应窄断面特征的。在摩擦接触结构中,信息卡直接插入信息卡室电触点的顶部,使信息卡的前部与电触点摩擦接触。信息卡完全插入时,信息卡的接触点靠在信息卡室的接触点上。在经过电镀-无电镀处理的镀金触点上,10至12,000个循环后,摩擦接触点的镀金将被磨去,使信息卡室和信息卡的连接不可靠。因此,需要另一种可重复使用15,000到100,000次窄断面信息卡室。
本发明提供了一个信息卡室。该信息卡室接收、保持并实现与信息卡的电连接。当信息卡被正确插入时,信息卡室和信息卡实现电连接。电触点位于信息卡室的底面。当信息卡插入信息卡室时,信息卡被移离触点。在完全插入以前,信息卡被移向电触点。两个移动装置允许信息卡插入信息卡室,而不使信息卡过分摩擦电触点。
图1是应用本发明的无线电话系统的框图。
图2是根据本发明所述的包括信息卡室的无线电话图解说明。
图3是根据本发明所述的包括信息卡室的另一个实施例的无线电话。
最佳实施例是一个便携式无线电话的信息卡室。该信息卡室具有一个窄断面并利用了三个移动装置,可是斜面也可是支撑弹簧。移动装置以最小体积最轻的重量,在印刷电路板产品上形成一种闭合接触结构。在过去,只有摩擦接触能用在这么小的区域。而现在,在窄断面一体化信息卡室中,重量次数可达到15,000到100,000次以上。
图1是根据本发明的无线电话通信系统的框图。固定位置的收发信机103发射和接收从位于一个固定地理服务区内的移动和便携式无线电话发出或到其中去的射频(RF)信号。无线电话101是固定位置的收发信机103服务区内的便携式无线电话之一。从便携式无线电话101和固定位置的收发信机103发出的信号包括数据或声音信号,用户认别和帐单信息。用户认别和帐单信息存储在信息卡105上的存储器中。也被称作灵巧卡的该信息卡105可以是全尺寸的也可以集成电路片尺寸的灵巧卡。信息卡105中的帐单信息由微处理器通过无线电话101中的信息卡室107读出。下面详细描述并图示说明所述信息卡室。
图2包括A、B和C三个部分,示出了信息卡105到图1所示的无线电话101中信息卡室107的插入过程。信息卡室107有至少两个包括移动装置和电触点的平面211,213。除这两个平面211,213外,第三个平面位于面对信息卡室107的入口处。但该第三个平面不是本发明公开所必需的,因此图中未示出。在最佳实施例中,选用支撑弹簧做移动装置。但是,包括斜面和扭力弹簧在内的其他支撑装置能够类似的方式使用,并且被认为是在此处所公开的本发明范围内。
在图2A中,信息卡105已到达第一个支撑弹簧201且接着被移动离开电触点205。图2B示出信息卡105进一步插入信息卡室107。该信息卡105被第一个支撑弹簧201移动,离开电触点205,这样就避免在电触点205处摩擦信息卡105。
图2c示出了当信息卡105被正好插入时,信息止105在信息卡室107中的位置。这里该卡已到达第二个支撑弹簧203。第二支撑弹簧把信息卡105移向电连接装置205,使信息卡105基本上处在电触点205上而只有很短摩擦用来保证消除触点205和信息卡105上的触点的氧化物。
第二支撑弹簧的弹性系数(k2)比第一支撑弹簧的弹性系数(k1)大,这样第二支撑弹簧203克服第一支撑弹簧201的作用。弹性系数的第一差异允许在信息卡105的连接点和电触点205之间,满足GSM说明11.11中要求的适当的接触和压力。
图2所示的电触点仅是一个电触点,不同的结构也是可能的。该电触点205可以是在宽度上两列成更多触点。第三个弹簧207是可选择的,用于移动信息卡105的第一端消除因第二支撑弹簧203和电触点205而产生的任何扭矩。在最佳实施例中,第三个支撑弹簧207的弹性系数K可比第二支撑弹簧的弹性系数略小。当该实施例包括两列电触点和一个可弯曲信息卡105时,设计第三支撑弹簧207是适当的。该弹簧207则允许在信息卡的电触点和信息卡室的两列电触点之间的适当的电连接。如图2所示,力F1和F2通过距离D1在信息卡105上产生一个足够大的扭矩M1保证所有信息卡的电触点和信息卡室的电触点之间的电接触。否则信息卡105上的扭矩或弧度只能使电触点中的一列适当连接。
当信息卡105如图2c所示正确插入时,信息卡105的电触点以适当的压力接触到电触点205上。该电连接把主微处理器209连到信息卡105上,允许主微处理器209从信息卡105上写入或读出数据。在最佳实施例中,信息卡105包括只读存储器,主微处理器209只从信息卡105上读出信息。但是,另一个同样充分的实施例中,信息卡105可以包括微处理器,集成电路和读写存储器,这样便可完成更多的功能。因此,信息卡的连接可为读、写和电源连接等。
图3示出无线电话101中的信息卡室107的另一个实施例。这里信息卡105向信息卡室107的插入和图2所示及前面的描述一致。仅有差别是用斜面301代替了前面所述的支撑弹簧207。这里,斜面和第三支撑弹簧207的功能一样,移动信息卡105被插入的第一端离开电触点205,消除由第二支撑弹簧203和电触点205产生在信息卡105上的扭矩。

Claims (9)

1、一个信息卡室用于接收、保持信息卡,并与信息卡形成电连接,该信息卡室有至少一个第一和一个第二平面,该第一平面高于且大致平行第二平面,该信息卡室包括:
当信息卡被正确插入时,和信息卡进行电连接的装置,该用于电连接的装置被设置在第一平面的第一侧;
当所述信息卡被插入时,用于移动信息卡离开所述电连接装置的第一装置,所述第一装置设置在第一平面的所述第一侧上;以及
当信息卡被插入时,用于把信息卡移向所述电连接装置的第二装置,所述第二装置位于第二平面的第一侧。
2、根据权利要求1所述的信息卡室还包括一个第三装置,用于移动信息卡的第一端离开所述用于电连接的装置,使当信息卡被正确插入时,信息卡和电连接装置正好接。
3、一个信息卡室用于接收、保持信息卡并与之形成电连接,该信息卡室具有至少一个第一和一个第二平面,该第一平面高于且大致上平行第二平面,该信息卡室包括:
一个包括至少一个电触点第一组电触点,该第一组中触点部分暴露在第一平面的第一侧,使当信息卡正好插入时,和信息卡产生的电连接;
一个第一支撑弹簧设置于第一平面的第一侧,移动所述信息卡离开所述电触点,该第一支撑弹簧具有一个第一预定弹性系数(k1);以及
一个第二支撑弹簧设置于第二平面的第一侧,移动所述信息卡趋向所述第一电触点,该第二支撑弹簧具有一个第二预定弹性系数(k2)。
4、根据权利要求3所述的信息卡室,其中所述第二预定弹性系数(K2)大于第一预定弹性系数(k1)。
5、根据权利要求3所述的信息卡室,其中该信息卡室还包括一个第三支撑弹簧设置在所述第一平面的所述第一侧,移动信息卡的第一端使当信息卡正好插入时,所述第一组电触点中的每个电触点和信息卡电连接。
6、根据权利要求5所述的信息卡室,其中所述第三支持弹簧有一个第三预定弹性系数(k3)并且该第三预定弹性系数(k3)小于所是第二预定弹性系数(k2)。
7、根据权利要求3所述的信息卡室,其中该信息卡室进一步包括一个第一斜面设置于第一平面的所述第一侧,当信息卡正好插入时,移动所述信息卡的第一端使第一组电触点的每个电触点和信息卡电连接。
8、一个无线电话包括一个微处理器和位于无线电话内的信息卡室,该信息卡室用于接收、保持信息卡并与其进行电连接,该无线电话包括:
一个第一组电触点,每个触点有第一端和第二端,每个触点的所述第一端和设于电线电话机内的微处理器相连,每个触点的所述第二端暴露在信息卡室中,使当信息卡正好插入时,第一组电触点和信息卡电连接;
当所述信息卡被插入时,移动信息卡离开第一组电触点的第一装置;以及
当所述信息卡被插入时,移动信息卡趋向所述第一组电触点的第二装置。
9、根据权利要求8所述的无线电话还包括一个第三装置,当所述信息卡正好插入时移动信息卡的第一端使信息卡与所述第一组电触点正好接触连接。
