I ordered the silver, initially (size 6),, and found the straps very tight, but the footbed was perfect and very comfortable. Sadly, by the end of the day, my little toe on the right was rubbing and sore. :' ( However.. They looked so lovely, I couldn't bear to send them back, sooo.. sacrilege, I know, but... I took a pair of sharp nail scissors and cut a small slit in the bottom of the strap, as close to the footbed as I could, to relieve the pressure on my little toe. It worked! And, of course, decision made. I can't send them back now! So I;ve just ordered the rose gold, as well. Also.. I think there is an identical listing, except the elastic looks looser, and one of the options is white with taupe stripes, and there is a black option. Reader, I bought it. ;-) Awaiting arrival. Will let you know. (By the way, if you have narrower feet than my clod-hoppers, you'll be fine.)

I ordered the Rose Gold in size 7 to replace the ones I wear to the spa/pool. Yes the elastic fits well over the foot, is comfortable and does not slide about but I do not have pretty feet and toes. Unfortunately the elastic straps are quite high so all of the toes are on show plus the colour is more flesh colour than rose gold so it makes everything look even worse.

Tried walking round the house and they make a terrible flapping noise flap flap flap sends you crazy and I imagine if wet it would be slurp flap slurp flap. Not for me but anyone with pretty feet and does not mind noise they will be ideal.

Very disappointed!!! I always purchase 2 pairs of these every year for last 3 maybe even 4 years. The pink and white floral was my favorite year. Sketchers used to just change the pattern NOT the material of the shoes yearly. Loved wearing as house and about shoes. Always threw them in the washer and came out like new every time. However, I returned both pairs of these due to the new material of both the footbed and elastic top. First, had a hard time keeping these on my feet due to the over-stretchy top of material that was on the scratchy side (it used to be a nice cotton feeling one and supported my feet better). Second, Sketchers changed the footbed to a slick plasticky like non porous material from the original rubbery grip yoga material that was amazing! Why??? I had spilled water on these as I was watering my house plants and my foot slipped right out due to the new slick material on the footbed. My old sketchers could be worn in the rain and puddles without ever slipping out!

I have about 12 pairs of Skechers Sandals/Mules, including "Beaching It" toe posts and diamante trimmed wedge heels I bought 2 years ago and are still going strong. I loved each pair so much I went back and bought more. I suffer with arthritic, swollen feet and need wide fittings, with soft, comfortable soles for me to be able to walk any distance without being in agony. (I've also got 4 pairs of the "Chugga" Boots for same reason!)

These have just arrived and they are BLISSFULLY comfortable! - can't recommend them highly enough, easily THE most comfortable pair of Skechers mules I've ever owned and that's saying something. TIP: in my experience they did come up a little large and although I followed advice for people in half sizes to go up a size, I'm sadly having to return for a smaller size. But not a deal breaker, going to order some more of these too, hahaha!
