I would consider myself an expert in toy dinosaurs at this point. We have a range of qualities and this lands amongst the higher quality items we have.
It has a good weight, stands by itself, is an interesting dinosaur which happens to be my son's favourite, feels nice to hold and would buy again.

This dinosaur is a great toy or even great just for show. To my surprise, it’s very heavy and sturdy. It’s features are detailed. My son (who is dinosaur obsessed!) enjoyed playing with it, but we also like to keep it on his dresser to admire. As a mom, I find it very cute, especially it’s little teeth and tiny arms! I appreciate that is very well made, so this isn’t a toy that is going to fall apart or break in a few weeks. Definitely recommend this one, especially if your little one loves dinosaurs!

The first thing I noticed upon opening the giganotosaurus was how heavy it was for its size. It literally feels like the weight of a brick in your hand! The quality of the colors is also very nice. It does not look nor feel cheap. I am very impressed with the quality. My 3 1/2 year old dinosaur obsessed son also loves it! The weight of this dinosaur makes it his favorite as this toy is always winning the dinosaur fights!! As far as a figurine, I find it to be great quality and am very happy with it.

This giganotosaurus is excellent! I could not believe how hefty he was when I removed him from the shelf! Very impressive! His coloring is bright and believable, his action stance is fear invoking to any unsuspecting sauropods in the area, and he has the right shape teeth, which is a detail a dino enthusiast like me pays attention to! Great for imaginative children, or collecting saurian fans like me! Recommendations all around
