Can anybody comment on the sound quality of these in-ear earphones, or maybe how their sound compare with the Sennheiser MX*** series in-ear earphones? I know these are noise isolating, just wondering about the sound reproduction and overall tone levels. I am looking at buying them as a pair of budget earphones. I would be using it with my ipod classic. Any comments will be appreciated.

Edit: I am assuming that the SHE8500's have exactly the same drivers as the SHE9500's, looking at each set's datasheets. Only difference seems to be cabling system and the earphones' appearance. Any thoughts about this?

I actually have these i have however moved up in iem and they are now in the hands of my sister. They have a fun sound but they dont have detail and have the common bloated bass that most cheap set give but for there price there not bad at all. Id say they sound slightly better than my marshmallows i had previously to them.

For around $12-$15 they are actually pretty good...ok highs, bloated bass and mids...snare kicks sound kind of tubby instead of crisp, but they will sound better than most stock buds and b/c they are canalphones they will give you more of the lower frequencies when listening to hip-hop and dance music...don't expect the world, but they are good for someone on a budget. However, I must say that you can get some skullcandy inkd earphones or JVC Marshmallows for about the same price, and you will get better sound...esp. from the Marshmallows....
