Description 武汉红楼 鄂军都督府位于蛇山南麓阅马场北端。武昌起义后，为鄂军都督府（湖北军政府）办公地。辛亥革命武昌起义纪念馆是在红楼内开辟的以纪念辛亥革命为主题的专题性纪念馆，由国家名誉主席宋庆龄题写馆名，纪念馆占地28亩，建筑面积6000多平方米，馆内收藏有与辛亥革命有关的历史文物1000多件，历史照片10000余张，分为辛亥革命武昌起义史迹陈列、孙中山先生生平事迹展览、黄兴先生生平事迹展览等基本陈列；纪念馆楼前建有碧樟广场，广场中矗立有国父孙中山先生的铜像。
