Felix Schramm

 

 

The work of Felix Schramm harks back to Matta-Clark influences yet brings something quite new.  I guess as so many images of Matta-Clark’s imagery is black and white that seeing these collaged installations by Schramm in subdued San Francisco pastels brings these dissections into the present.  Yet these works still hold onto the honesty of construction.
