That's great news. I think it's a great looking watch and 39 would be a better size for me.
Recently acquired from Sav, loving this , hand wound and beautifully made.
The 42mm is a nice size but I just found out today they will be releasing the 39mm steel version this year . (not a limited edition ) I doubt I’ll be able to resist !

Very nice, I really like the coin edge bezels and it's a classic of their lineup.
I was very close to buying the LE Pioneer Mk II with green dial. One of the best green dials I've seen.
Really good looker and well made by all accounts. Too large for my 6.5 inch wrist; also waiting for the 39mm.
I have the bronze version of this, in 42mm. It fits my 7 1/4" wrist just fine, I wouldn't change it at all.
What I most like is the fact that Hannart do not take the mickey. They are the orignal brand re-issuing thie own models, one's with history (Bund issued) and celebrity connection (Steve McQueen), and still they price them very fairly, when other brands use such heritage to ramp prices quite a distance.
D
Been thoroughly enjoying having this on my wrist for 2 weeks now, and running at a very respectable -1sec/day.
Sits fine on my 7.5” wrist at 42mm, but would be interested to see how the proportions feel at 39mm with the same 13.5mm thickness. I understood they’ have only produced 200 of those so might have to be very lucky to get one!

I passed on the 42mm 417 due to the size. I have a 42mm Pioneer One and it fits fine but is bigger than I prefer. I have a couple of 40mm Hanhart chronos with the Valjoux 7760 movement and they are superb - even the hands are bead blasted to match the case. I'm looking forward to the 39mm 417. I hope at some point they make a 39mm three hander as well so I can trade off the 42mm watch.
40mm manual wind chronographs
Not a real 39mm watch
I’ve never noticed before that I have Timelapse on my iPad. Thanks.
Your Hanhart looks good and good value compared to many chronographs.
The font and handset look very similar to a French Air Force Hanhart I owned for a time, branded VIXA.
I also had a 1939 Replika when they came out 20 years or so ago.
