Cheap place just in front of the university which is good for a beer but not particularly memorable.

This is one of the cheaper cafes / restaurants along the Leopoldstraße, located close to the English garden and the subway station.
The pastas and burgers are good, the Kaiserschmarrn dessert (scrambled pancakes with powdered sugar, raisins and ice cream) however didn't do it's name justice.
The service was very slow and inefficient even though there weren't that many people.
I recommend taking a few more minutes to walk down Schellingstraße for a broader selection of options with better quality for the same price.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Emily W.Munich, Germany8279Nov 25, 2013
Good food good prices.
I wouldn't say it's the best food you'd ever taste in your life but it's a pretty nice place!
From the road it doesn't look like much - just a bunch of tables outside a narrow door in the wall - but if you go through that door there's a rather charming covered (and heated) courtyard which makes for a very nice ambiance.
They have a wide variety of food ranging from salads and bagels to burgers and schnitzel and a good range of drinks to choose from too!
The waiters can be a bit on the slow side but if you're not in a hurry this place is worth a try.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
