About me
I’m a passionate and positive designer studying a bachelor in interior design at De Montfort University. I have many years of experience in the design industry from IKEA, both as a kitchen designer and an internship at the interior design and visual merchandising department. My love and passion for interior design started at an early age and have since continued to grow. I have always strived to create and visualize various of designs and concepts. From my internship, at IKEA’S Design department I developed valuable transferable skills in combination with additional awareness for the industry. At university, I have enhanced my knowledge in various design software including developing my creative mindset and communication skills. I am excited to have the opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge in a design role. I’m now looking for a placement where I can be challenged and that will provide me with the skillset and experience to flourish as a designer. I’m soon going to finish my second year at university and I’m flexible for any opportunities. I’m a doer and not afraid of facing a challenge.
