Jan Simon

Jan Simon has a diverse work experience in the field of computer graphics and product management. They started their career at Hochschule Trier as a Research Assistant in 2014 and later became a Developer and Assisting Lecturer from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, Jan joined KeyShot as a Computer Graphics Engineer and also took on the role of Product Manager in 2022. During their time at KeyShot, they became the KeyVR Lead and Product Owner, managing the product's roadmap and successfully shipping major software updates. Jan also worked as a Scrum Product Owner at Luxion, where they developed and integrated the KeyShot Web Viewer into the overall KeyShot ecosystem.

Jan Simon has a strong education background in computer science and humanities. Jan obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Hochschule Trier, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to their master's degree, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science at the same institution from 2012 to 2015.

Before pursuing computer science, Jan Simon studied English Studies and Musicology at The University of Bonn. Jan received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in these fields from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Jan Simon has also acquired certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance in September 2021.
