• Scored 17 goals as a junior
• Scored in 12 games with three multiple-goal outings
• Set career high with four goals vs. Pepperdine on Sept. 11
• Scored one goal in the NCAA title game
• Earned ACWPC All-Academic and MPSF All-Academic honors
2020 SEASON:
• In a season shortened and delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, scored 10 goals as a sophomore
• Scored in nine games with one two-goal outing in the NCAA Quarterfinal
• Scored one goal in the NCAA final
• Earned ACWPC All-Academic honors
• Named to Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll
• Earned MPSF All-Academic honors
2019 SEASON:
• Scored 11 goals as a true freshman
• First career goal came in the season opener at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps
• Scored in eight games with two multiple-goal outings
• Set career high with three goals vs. Whittier on Sept. 14
• Scored one goal in the NCAA Quarterfinal.
HIGH SCHOOL: Sturtevant helped Cathedral Catholic win the 2018 San Diego Open Division Championship as a senior... Earned All-CIF San Diego and all-league first team honors... As a junior, named to all-county and all-league teams... Also won 2015 CIF Open Division title as a freshman... Played club for Del Mar Water Polo... An honor student.
NATIONAL TEAMS: Sturtevant competed for Great Britain at the 2019 World University Games... Named MVP and was top scorer at the 2017 EU Nations tournament as a member of England’s under-21 team.... Also competed for Great Britain at the 2018 EU Championship... Was a member of the U.S. Youth National Team in 2017.
PERSONAL: Sturtevant is majoring in business administration... Parents are Joe and Clare... Has one brother, Matt... His father, Joe, played water polo at UC San Diego... Enjoys cooking in his free time... Lists Denes Vargas as his biggest sports hero... Has always wanted to own a restaurant... Hopes to travel to Fiji... In high school, he and a friend started a philanthropy called Summer Hands of San Diego... Born May 25, 2000.
