Text: Guy Davenport, William Simon. Condition: Dustjacket with slightest trace of use, but with no defects; minimal nick on the rear side (also on the rear cover), but with no consequence for inside. Book inside excellent, flawless; clean and fresh with no marks and no foxing. Overall excellent, very fine condition! That childhood does end is McBride's great subject, studying the fact that its end is a change from innocence to experience, from play to work and from having a fluid and capricious imagination to a purposeful one, from being the center of attention to one who has to pay attention.
