Der größte Wunsch unseres 5 Jährigen war dieses Schloss. So machte er sich nach den Weihnachtstagen daran, das Teil auch eigenständig zu bauen. Auch wenn Lego das Alter mit 9-14 ausbringt, ein/e 5 bzw. 6 jährige/r schafft den Aufbau auch, wenn er/sie sich Zeit lässt und man ihm/ihr für Rückfragen zur Verfügung steht. Es zahlt sich auch immer aus, dem Bauherren oder der Bauherrin einig Schüsselchen zur Seite zu stellen, damit man die benötigten Teile vorsortieren kann. Ein Schälchen noch für den aktuellen Bauschritt, dann vergisst man auch nix.
Unserem kleinen Burgherren ist der Aufbau in einigen Tagen (je nach Lust und Laune) gelungen und das detaillierte Schloss bringt ihm sehr viel Spass. Wie bei nahezu jedem Bausatz von Lego sind auch wieder "Gute" und "Böse" Figuren und Kleinbausätze dabei, sodass man sofort spielen kann. Das Schloss kann aufgeklappt werden und bietet im Inneren das ein oder andere Gimmick (Fahrzeug zum herauskatapultieren, bestückte Waffenkammer etc.). Die Bilder in der Produktpräsentation zeigen eigentlich alles wichtige. Nexo Knigths Schilder befinden sich natürlich auch wieder dabei, damit man im zugehörigen Spiel neue Kräfte benutzen kann.
Fazit: Der Junior ist höchst zufrieden und spielt fleissig damit.
