Laurie Anderson, real name Laura Anderson, is an American singer whose particularity is to have been one of the female pioneers in terms of electronic music and avant-garde sound experimentation.
She will do first in sculpture and then in sound and musical experimentation during the 1970s.
And it was only in 1981 that she was finally recognized for its true worth when the indescribable and transcosmic "O Superman" came out, a title with a throbbing-hallucinating sound. Title that will be a global hit.
Despite a more than impressive discography, she will remain in the musical history of the 80s mainly for this so emblematic title.
