  • The Police Brutality Dataset

    Using a database from The Washington Post detailing all the cases of police brutality from 2015-2020, I have created data visuals to showcase this data in an interactive way. This project combines these data visuals created with Tableau and integrates them into a multimedia piece combining data and art.

    With a civil rights movement taking place right now, this project hopes to communicate both information and important narratives through data and other forms of media. By complementing medias with data, this form of storytelling hopes to both convey important information in an engaging way, and also make it accessible for people from all backgrounds to understand and connect with it.

  • The Covid Accounts

    This is a self designed a summer project through the Career Center to create and develop data stories about the affects of COVID19 on different parts of Denison's communities. In order to create these multimedia stories, I've created dashboards, heat maps and engaging visuals using Tableau. Other than that, I've used Adobe Photoshop and Shorthand to add other media such as text, images and videos.
