“Rachel and I worked very closely on the Growth pod for a number of months at Bright Cellars. She is not only talented at design, but she deeply understands UX principles, product process and iterative work. She was thoughtful in her approach to every project she touched but she was also lightning fast. Her method of showing different and varied options to stakeholders required a lot of upfront effort on her part but proved valuable time and time again as we heard directly from the stakeholders what they liked in each option. She knew how to get the information we needed to advance the project and she worked tirelessly to get it. Rachel’s process accelerated projects and her eagerness and openness to feedback meant we moved quickly through projects without ego, always keeping the customer and the stakeholder in the center of her designs. She also came to the table with her own research, ideas and excitement that made my job as a PM easier. We had candid chats about the direction of a project and she would be willing to test out anything we brainstormed, and yet she was always pushing the boundaries of what I thought could be achieved in the time we had. If you are looking for an action-oriented, dependable, thoughtful UX designer, she is it.”

Art direction for Spring Promotion
-
I led the Spring Promotion’s art direction to create new assets. Our team had one month to turn around images from an in-house photoshoot with limited resources. The assets were then used across the Tuft & Needle site and other advertising areas for paid and organic marketing.

Product Catalog Feature: Giving customers an easier way to compare products
-
With the goal of improving customer experience and increasing conversion, I advocated for adding a Product Catalog or Product Listing Page (PLP) to the site. Giving the customer more access points to all products in a single page with filtering options, this new feature gives customers control of their shopping experience.
