Please Apply 1Sculpture/Installation 2.Painting https://lnkd.in/gZB8kfgU We seek outstanding candidates for the positions in Practice (Sculpture/Installation and Painting) at Department of Art Media and Performance, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE) NCR. Our aim is to bring together individuals with diverse perspectives and experiences to contribute to a dynamic global learning environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing practice oriented courses in their area of expertise, which may include sculpture, installation, painting, drawing, and related areas. Additionally, they should be able to incorporate critical histories/theories of contemporary practice within sculpture /painting into the courses. A strong proficiency in use of materials, new and old, handling software tools and experience of working in and running a sculpture lab (if sculpture is the chosen discipline), would be preferred. Applicants must hold an MFA/MVA or similar post-graduation degree in visual/fine art. PhD is not mandatory but would be advantageous. We would value candidates with a strong research orientation to their practice which would align with our commitment to interdisciplinary artistic research at the department. Art and the Field: Context and Materiality 1March 2024 The curation includes work that is connected to sites in and around the environs of Dadri/Chitehra, where our University is situated. The focus is on primary research, in the form of visual impressions and material vocabularies gathered during our journeys.
