Hock Tan, President and CEO of Broadcom, and his wife, Lya Truong, recently attended the investiture of the first Truong-Tan Broadcom Endowed Professorship at Stanford University School of Medicine. Professor Karen Parker has committed her life to understanding and finding solutions to the challenges faced by children with autism and learning disabilities. In doing so, she’s bringing hope to many. Karen embodies the spirit of innovation and determination that drives both Broadcom and Stanford. Our hope is that this professorship will create an environment where brilliant minds like Karen’s can flourish. 📸 Photos: Jim Gensheimer

This is Fantastic! As an aunt of a child with autism, tools and research are key and Professor Parkers research sounds like it will go a long way to helping so many families in the future who can leverage her research to help their children, (including adult children) for the long and often varying degrees of challenges families with autism face to help them manage better lives.

I listened to a Huberman Lab podcast episode recently with Dr Parker outlining her work and she was amazing. As a parent of an adult child with autism and admirer of all things Stanford, I applaud this investiture and the effort behind it. Congratulations to all involved.

“An altruistic nonprofit to help victims of cybercrime with resources & security software. Profits will help homeless people(e.g. money or food) and animals (e.g. ASPCA/Humane Society). No middle men! : )

Fantastic news and great to hear of this level of support for Autism.

With two autistic nephews,  I understand firsthand the challenges faced by families living with autism. Your dedication and commitment to researching solutions, Dr. Parker, is truly inspiring and deeply appreciated. It offers hope and potential for a brighter future for countless families
