The younger generations had no actual idea of what it felt like having a comedy show that covered political satire as The Daily Show did it with Jon Stewart. For the time he was leading the show, Jon created a new format that became the staple of shows we have today such as Last Week Tonight with John Oliver or anything Stephen Colbert has done in his career. Stewart was their teacher and mentor for many years, that will change today as Jon Stewart agreed to make a sensational return to the place where he became a comedy icon. Comedy Central just announced their most successful comic is coming back to host The Daly Show during the entire presidential election. But there are some conditions he wanted before saying yes.

Will Jon Stewart return to host The Daily Show everyday?

When he retired back in 2014, Jon Stewart did tell his audience that all he wanted was to live on his farm and spend time with his family. But the bug of going back to television didn't let him stay at peace, he eventually returned to host Apple TV's The Problem with Jon Stewart. It was a show that attempted to tackle political and social issues with Jon's particular and comedic point of view. Once he was cancelled by the company, it was Comedy Central's chance to try and convince him to return. Once Trevor Noah left after a fairly successful period, the show remained without a host for an extended period of time before this news was announced.

Jon Stewart is not coming back to host every single show, he closed a deal to only host on Mondays and return as an executive producer. But more importantly, Stewart is coming back to host the show during a year of presidential elections. Stewart is set to make his triumphant return on Monday February 12, 2024. This new deadl was struck with Paramount, which is Comedy Central's parent company. Stewart will oversee every single show as executive producer but he will only host Mondays. People are already responding to his return with the greatest hits from his previous run as the show's host. Everybody is happy this is happening. How do you feel about Jon Stewart returning to The Daily Show?
