I work well with individuals who are seeking change. Post-traumatic stress and anxiety can be debilitating. I offer trauma-informed therapy for individuals who desire post-traumatic growth. I will help re-develop a sense of hope through processing fears and diminishing the severity of the fight or flight response. Resilience can be strengthened by empowering the survivor with healthy self-management skills and improving self-worth. I am empathetic and goal-oriented.
I utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy to provide brief trauma-informed psychotherapy. I also implement an integrated approach through cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness. I help individuals come to a greater understanding and acceptance of their emotions. I also provide practical solutions for developing self-management.
I am a veteran and a trauma survivor myself. It took the compassion of others to help me strive for post-traumatic growth. I am heavily service-oriented and my time spent facilitating healing is incredibly fulfilling.
