      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

The plot is a nonsensical, hyperactive jumble and the gags are relatively uninspired compared to the classic Looney Tunes cartoons.

Mark M This movie is mid. Not so good, not so bad. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/24 Full Review Keith N My personal favorite Looney Tunes movie, I love this more than space jam Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Alec B Dante is the right director for this material and whenever the screenplay gets away from him (which is quite often) he is usually able to salvage the movie with an inspired gags or two. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Daniel Q Neeeh, what's up doc Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Lou T The Looney Tunes are certainly Back in Action, as they return to the big screen for the first time since Space Jam. While I feel that this outing handles the Tunes better than the previous, it lacked in other areas and failed to excel at revitalizing the beloved characters. With most of the live action cast being forgettable or too over the top, Brendan Fraser gives a charming performances and carries the film through some of its more lackluster parts. Without fail, the Looney Tunes are delightful and though they have a plethora of characters, almost all of them are given moments to shine, big and small. The mix of classic cartoon style and live action create a fun environment and allow for some liberties to be taken with the effects, while rarely crossing into an ugly territory. The comedy never reaches high levels of hilarity and instead, some of the jokes carry on for way too long, while others fly by far too fast. Looney Tunes: Back in Action captures the nostalgic charm of the original cartoons, but gets stretched too far, proving that the classic shorts should stay short. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/01/23 Full Review Caitlyn S Best movie ever, all time classic, absolute artwork and anyone who hates it is miserable and old and I'd consider for euthanasia as you clearly aren't enjoying life Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
